Victoria Schaffer is from a poor neighborhood in Duluth, Minnesota. Seeking fortune she never had, she moves to the North Dakota oil fields to start her own trucking business. She takes out a loan from a local gangster that she is unable to pay, forcing her to return home and ask her estranged business mogul father for help.
